These Food Ingredients Increase Your Testosterone Levels

The testosterone levels in the body, which is identical to the male hormone, turns out to be low or below normal. But calm down. You can increase this hormone in various ways. One way is to eat several testosterone-boosting foods.

Some treatments can indeed increase low testosterone levels, especially in younger men. However, the intake of some food can also help the body to create more testosterone. The following is a list of foods that you can consume to increase testosterone in the body:

1. Ginger

According to findings from a 2012 study, taking ginger supplements for 3 consecutive months increased testosterone levels. This occurred in 75 adult men who previously had fertility problems. The authors of the researchers said that ginger has been shown to improve health.

2. Oysters

For oyster lovers, there is good news. Oysters contain more zinc than other foods. Moreover, zinc is essential for supporting health and reproductive function. Men who are deficient in zinc are at risk for hypogonadism, in which the body does not produce enough testosterone. This can make men have the opportunity to experience impotence.

3. Pomegranate

A study in 2012 showed that pomegranate can increase testosterone levels in both men and women.
