It’s important not to overlook this fact just because it’s an inconvenience. Of course, nobody wants to wear a mask, much less multiple layers of uncomfortable clothing. At the end of the day, you probably prefer wearing a hot and sweaty mask to being sick in bed.
Take Care of Yourself During Your Shift
It may seem impossible to take a break when you’re pulling a 14-hour shift. Hospitals are understaffed, and healthcare workers are running around like ants from the moment they step in. With so much on your plate, it may seem tempting to work even more to make sure it all gets done.
