Tom Brady’s Return Assures Super Bowl As the Goal

By Cristiana , in General , at June 27, 2022

People who work for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, supporters of the team from across the world, and those who are pleased they didn’t buy a Blaine Gabbert jersey yet:

The Buccaneers have had a peculiar offseason, but their odds are as popular as Nathan’s hot dog eating contest odds. It appeared for a few weeks that the best had quit. Then, by chance, Tom Brady returned. Then, coach Bruce Arians resigned and joined the front office.

Both Arians and Brady disputed that this resulted from a rebellion aboard this ship, and everything appears to have returned to normal. Is Tampa Bay the greatest team in the NFC? Let us research.

2021 Rewind

The highlight of last season was Week 14’s victory over the Bills. Last year, many individuals predicted that the Buccaneers and the Bills would reach the Super Bowl by betting on the teams like how people bet Nathan’s Famous odds. This matchup nearly occurred in February.

When the teams finally met on December 12, the Buccaneers stunned the Bills by defeating them in overtime. The game lived up to its reputation.

Week 15’s 9-0 loss to the Saints was the worst moment of the 2021 season. Will the Buccaneers find out how to defeat the Saints at some point?

Since Tom Brady arrived in Tampa in 2020, the Saints have won all four regular-season meetings with the Buccaneers and three in a row before that.

A week after scoring 33 points in overtime to defeat the Bills, it was reasonable to anticipate a regression. However, it wasn’t very pleasant to be shut out by the talented Saints. This week, great receiver Chris Godwin tore his ACL, ending his season.

Todd Bowles is the head coach of the team. Consider this for one minute. Every head coach who has won a Super Bowl with Tom Brady was in his second season as head coach when he won the championship.

I’m not going to dispute whether Arians’ time as interim Colts head coach instead of his time leading the Cardinals counts as his first head-coaching position or whether Bill Belichick’s time with the Jets between guiding the Browns and Patriots counts as his second.

Bowles, who coached the Jets from 2015 to 2018, is guaranteed a Super Bowl victory with Brady. Bowles is serving his first season as head coach.

Perhaps that seems a bit far-fetched. Bowles, on the other hand, should be given an opportunity. He is the only coach in the last ten years to have led the Jets to a winning season, and as the defensive coordinator for the Bucs for two years, he was instrumental in their Super Bowl run.

The defense hounded Patrick Mahomes for most of Super Bowl LIV and was the primary reason the Patriots prevailed. And when Brady returned this offseason, Arians was secure enough to give over the reins to Bowles.

He admitted he would not have done it if Blaine Gabbert was the quarterback. No malice was intended toward Blaine, of course.

Tom Brady is the team’s leader. Who believed Brady was truly done for good? It was like seeing a movie where you had to stay to the end credits because you feared that Brady would return to scare everyone again.

As if Matthew Stafford’s bathroom mirror would read, “I know what you won last February.” Given that Brady was as productive as ever in 2021, his departure was perplexing.

He was only the sixth quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 5,000 yards, 40 touchdowns, and a passer rating of at least 100 in a single season.

He continues getting better, to be honest. Brady had more passing yards and touchdowns in his 40s than in his 20s. You’ve likely seen memes depicting Brady, who turns 45 in August, looking younger than he did in his twenties.

Even though he joined the Buccaneers only two years ago, if he throws 39 touchdown passes this year, he will become the franchise leader in passing touchdowns.

What the Bucs Must Do To Have A Successful Season

For Nathan’s challenge, Joy Chestnut odds are ready for selection as many people are already predicting his success, like how people are predicting the Bucs success. Tom Brady didn’t return from retirement to not fight for the NFC South division title.

All bets are off for what could be Tom Brady’s final season in the NFL. Next season, he will likely not throw to Tyreek Hill in Miami.
